Whether you have an upcoming bid, a proposal that you've won, or have an open position within your company that you need to fill - OnFrontiers can help you place a qualified expert in a long term role. Requesting an expert from our Marketplace is simple and efficient way to interview candidates, and quickly hire the right person!

Job placements usually include a clear Scope of Work detailing a list of responsibilities and a full description on tasks to be performed. A job placement will also have specific qualifications (such as an MBA or Advanced Degree) as a requirement.

*A job placement contract can range anywhere from 1-5 years or longer.

Not sure what you are looking for? Check our article on how to request an expert when you don't have a full project scope yet

Here's how to submit an expert request for a Job Placement:

1: Selecting a sector or geography

For job placements, think about the requirements you have in terms of technical expertise and geographic experience. Is it required that the experts you're looking for have previous experience working in that geographic area? If yes, then include that tag. If not, you can skip it or just put "global" and you'll get matched with qualified experts regardless of location or geographic experience.

Note: If the tags provided here are too broad, don't worry about it! You will have a chance to send us the specific information later on in the flow. This is just the first step to narrowing down the field.

2: What are you looking to understand?

This section is pretty easy for job placements. Just select "Talent Sourcing" since you are requesting experts who will actually be conducting work for you.

3). Organizations to Avoid or Pursue

If there are any organizations you need to avoid, such as competitors or current clients, you can name those companies here. Or if there are any organizations you’d like to pursue, who you think will have candidates with valuable industry experience, you can name those companies as well.

Don’t know who you should avoid or pursue? Don’t stress! Leave it blank for now and our Research Manager can help talk you through it once you finish submitting the request.

4). Describing your Ideal Expert Profile

At this point, your ideal expert profile should be very well defined. This is an open-ended field, so feel free to provide us with as much information as possible, especially if you already have a technical description of your requirements. You can copy it from the RFP or any document you may have detailing the perfect match for you. No need to worry about making a comprehensive, well-written paragraph here - our Research Managers can help you out!

The most important points to include in this section are:

  • Your ideal background and experience

  • Duties or tasks the expert will be engaging on

  • Estimated start/end dates and length of contract (no need to have specific dates, the approximate month will help experts determine if they will be available to engage with you)

  • Whether or not there will be travel requirements

*If you don't have all the specific details right now, again, don't worry! Our team can work with you to start finding experts as you continue working out the specifics

5). What questions do you need answered?

The goal of this section on a job placement request is to filter and vet experts according to your requirements, so feel free to be detailed and specific about what you need from the expert. This includes regional experience, qualifications, project management experience, language requirements - the list goes on!

For example:

  • Do you have an Advanced Degree in Economics?

  • Do you have at least 5 years experience managing large-scale public transportation infrastructure projects?

  • Do you have extensive experience working in Kyrgyzstan?

Once you decide to interview the expert, you can ask additional, deeper level interview questions to get a more comprehensive understanding of their past experiences and capabilities in order to make the most informed decision about whether or not you'd like to move forward and contract them for a long term role.

Note: Once you have submitted the expert request form through our platform, you should expect an OnFrontiers Research Manager to contact you shortly for a scoping call. The information provided while submitting your request will be used by Research Managers to understand your project ahead of the call. This will help in faster and more successful project scoping overall. In general, the scoping call takes 10-15 minutes and it is a vital part of our process that defines the success of custom matched experts.
