Are there any subjects I should not advise on?
When in doubt, you should always check with the OnFrontiers Team. As an Expert, you should not advise on the following types of issues:
- Subjects in which you are not an expert
- Confidential information from current or past employers
- Material non-public information about publicly traded companies
- Privileged information (attorney-client, doctor-patient, etc.)
- Sensitive or classified government information
If a client asks a question that ventures into one of these areas, politely steer the conversation to a safer topic or pause the call to follow up with OnFrontiers.
OnFrontiers requires every expert to complete a short compliance training before joining their first consultation. This training covers the principles above and the protections we have in place for both experts and clients.
If you have any questions about whether a specific topic is appropriate, please reach out to support@onfrontiers.com before the consultation.
