OnFrontiers Expert Engagement FAQ
Everything you need before your first OnFrontiers engagement, in one place.
If you registered as an expert before August 11, 2026, the updated Expert Participation Agreement begins to apply to your work on the later of September 1, 2026 and 14 days after we attempt to notify you by email, or earlier if you accept it when you next sign in. Work you accept before then remains governed by the agreement in effect at the time you accepted it.
The three ways you can work
OnFrontiers experts do Video Consultations, Written Responses, and Scoped Engagements. Who you contract with and how you are paid differ by type. See What kind of relationship do Experts have with OnFrontiers?

Conflicts of interest
OnFrontiers requires every expert to complete compliance training covering what you may and may not discuss, and customers screen for organizational conflicts of interest before inviting you. You can decline any request.
